About Me
I was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have been practicing art ever since I can remember. Growing up, I enjoyed learning different media and how I could express myself through them. The mediums I mainly specialize in are digital art, oil painting, and charcoal painting.
When I was 24, I was diagnosed with a chronic inflammatory disease called hidradenitis suppurativa, which changed my outlook on life. I tried to take a positive outlook on my condition and now use it as inspiration for my art. I often paint subject matter such as body horror, as it is a representation of how my condition has affected my body. I try to capture my life experiences through my paintings and have used art as a form of therapy for years now. Although I am very joyful, happy-go-lucky in person, I depict my inner thoughts and emotions through my artwork.
I also find inspiration in other artists such as Giger and Beksinski. I try to depict a sense of “otherworldliness” in my art that captivates viewers. I am constantly striving for improvement and learning new techniques that will help me achieve that improvement.
Art has always played a major role in my life and has always served as my comfort. Although I am still learning, I still feel accomplished by how far I’ve come both as a person and as an artist.
